Name of the item: PURCHASE OF Electrolyte Analyzer with built-in-Printer (Free placement of equipment) on the basis of Cost / Sample.

Specification:

Tender for Reagent on cost per reportable text basis for measurement of parameters namely Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca++, Ca (Total), and pH in Emergency Clinical Chemistry Laboratory, Dept, of Laboratory Medicine with following terms and conditions:

Terms and Conditions

·         Actual cost for reportable parameters per sample for a workload of 250 samples/day for five years  period is to be quoted.

·         Firm is supposed to install the equipment in the Departmental Emergency Laboratory, free of cost in which

            i.         The measurement should be possible from the primary tube of the specimen and sample cup.

           ii.         The equipment should have the sample sensing facility, viz clot or fiber detection.

          iii.        Sample requirement should not be more than 100 ul for all parameters together.

         iv.       The page display of the results of one sample should be maintained on the screen till the instrument is programmed for next sampling.

       v.       The Precision and Accuracy of results should meet the requirement of Internal quality control and External.  Quality Assurance Program.

·         Firm will completely (100%) maintain the equipment free of charge (including spares, consumables, electrodes, thermal paper, reagents and also the required preventive & corrective servicing).

·         Penalty: The equipment should run round the clock.  Following any breakdown the instrument should be brought to order within 2 hours of telephonic information from the laboratory.  Otherwise a penalty of Rs.1000/- per hour will be levied on the firm.
